Freshwater is a national park in Queensland, Australia, [1] 34 km north of Brisbane. The park is west of Redcliffe, near Deception Bay, within Caboolture Shire . The park's vegetation is a remnant of the Open Sclerophyll Woodland which was once common in this area.

Overview The Pantanal is the world's largest freshwater wetland, a seasonally flooded plain fed by the tributaries of the Paraguay River. At 68,000 square miles, it is more than 20 times the size of the Everglades. The Pantanal is also one of the world's most productive habitats.

This is a nice little hike through Freshwater National Park in the Moreton Bay Region of Queensland. There are multiple entry points to this trail. This route enters Priests Road and follows the walking track to the sign to the right. Continue straight ahead and then keep correct to follow in a circuit.
